Welcome to Hillsdale Township, in Hillsdale, MI.  The township loosely surrounds the city of Hillsdale in Hillsdale County in southcentral Michigan, and is generally rural.  The population of the Township as of the 2010 Census was 2033 persons.  Hillsdale Township consists of 13.2 square miles; 12.6 of that land and .6 of that water.

The Planning Commission is working on updating the Township Zoning Ordinance. They meet every third Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. Stop in and join the discussion.  

 The Headwaters Recreation Authority has a draft trail plan available for review and comment. Call James Marsh to review the copy at 439-1012. A copy is also at the Hillsdale Community Library and check out their website athttp://www.headwaters-trails.org/ for a posting.
